Let’s talk about sound & word approximations in speech therapy.

Sometimes, kids can’t say a full word yet—but that’s okay! We celebrate approximations: simplified versions of words that still get the message across. 🎉

✅ “Ba” for “ball”
✅ “Uh” for “up”
✅ “Da” for “dog”

These early attempts show that a child is trying to communicate, which is a huge win in speech development!
