Shoals Sav-A-Life is looking for a compassionate and dependable individual to join our team as a Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) educator.

This role involves working with students and community partners to provide education that empowers individuals to make healthy, informed decisions.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about serving others
• Comfortable speaking in group settings
• Organized and dependable
• Aligned with our mission

Responsibilities include:
• Presenting SRA curriculum in schools and community settings
• Building relationships with local partners
• Assisting with program planning and outreach

We’re so proud of our new Client Services Coordinator, Lindsey Dabbs, who had a wonderful time this weekend representing Shoals Women’s Clinic at UNA’s Tiny Cubs Community Baby Shower! She connected with many families while giving away free diapers and sharing information about the free services we offer.

We’re incredibly grateful to UNA’s nursing program for hosting this event twice a year to support moms and babies and promote perinatal care and safety across the Shoals. 💙💗

Our meetings aren’t always just lunch and guest speakers. Last week, our Exchange members donated diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials for Shoals Sav-A-Life to give to the mothers and families they support.

Shoals Sav-A-Life is honored to announce that Anna Montoya has stepped into the role of our new Executive Director!

Anna’s journey with Shoals Sav-A-Life began in 2016 when she joined the ministry as an SRA Presenter. Over the years, she has faithfully served in multiple roles, including Client Advocate and Client Services Coordinator. Through each position, Anna has demonstrated a deep compassion for clients and a heart fully committed to the work God is doing through this ministry.

Her leadership, experience, and heart for ministry make her a natural fit for this role, and we are excited to see how God will continue to work through her in this new season.

Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday 💛
A day when many churches celebrate the value of life at every stage.

This Sunday also kicks off our Baby Bottle Campaign at many churches—a vital fundraiser that allows Shoals Sav-A-Life to provide all of our services completely free of charge.

Thank you to Woodmont Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church for welcoming two of our staff members to share more about our ministry.
