For years, she struggled with severe scoliosis, constant pain, limited movement, and even tension headaches that just wouldn’t let up.

Nothing seemed to give lasting relief… until now.

After her session, she described the experience as:
- Like a deep tissue massage but even more relieving
- Not painful, just targeted, effective, and powerful

And the results?
-️ Immediate reduction in tension
- Felt lighter right away
-️ Increased range of motion she didn’t think was possible
-️ A back that feels better than it ever has

This is why we do what we do.
When the body is given the right stimulation, it has the ability to respond, repair, and restore.

If you’ve been living with chronic pain and feel like you’ve “tried everything”… this might be what you’ve been missing.

Spring Cleaning Your Body (Not Just Your House!)

April has been here! You’ve organized the garage, but how do your joints feel? Spring cleaning often means more lifting, bending, and reaching than our bodies are used to.

Avoid the "Spring Cleanup Ache" with these PT tips:
- Lift Smart: Bend your knees, not your back! Keep heavy items close to your core.
- Take Breaks: Tackle projects in 30-minute chunks to avoid overworking muscles.
- Switch It Up: Don't scrub in one position for too long. Change tasks to rest specific muscle groups.

If you’re feeling sore, stiff, or not moving like you used to—it’s time to spring into action and get it checked out!

"I can't see a Physical Therapist without a referral."

Nope. At this point, patients in all 50 states may be evaluated by, and receive some form of treatment from, a physical therapist without obtaining a referral. That means if you're a current PT patient who loves your current provider, you are able to refer friends and family directly to that therapist. It also means that a person searching for health information and provider options online can go directly to any PTs they discover.

Neck pain can be caused by several factors, including muscle tension, nerve impingement, or poor posture. It can also result from injury or overuse of the muscles in the neck and upper back.

Dry needling can help with neck pain in several ways. By inserting the needles into trigger points in the neck muscles, the body is prompted to release endorphins, promoting natural pain relief. Furthermore, dry needling can help to break up any adhesions in the muscles, improving range of movement and reducing stiffness and pain.

At Lester Physical Therapy, we give you a digital home exercise program that you can access anywhere from your phone, so it’s convenient at work, home, the gym, or even on the road! We also spend a lot of time educating you about these 6 keys to successful rehab:

1. How often to do your home exercises
2. How to use proper technique
3. What to do when you have pain
4. Ways to make the exercise easier
5. Ways to make the exercise harder
6. Why you are doing the exercise in the first place!

So no excuses!

Happy World Health Day 2026!

This year’s theme is “Together for Health: Stand with Science.” As a physical therapist, I believe in evidence-based care to help you move better, live stronger, and recover safely.

Physical therapy isn't just about exercises—it's about understanding how your body moves and using scientific, tailored methods to restore function and prevent injury.

This World Health Day, choose evidence over misinformation. If you are struggling with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply want to improve your mobility, Lester PT is here to work together—therapist and patient—to get you back to your daily activities and goals.
