🏥 Big News in EP Cardiac Care!
We are thrilled to announce that our heart rhythm team has successfully performed the hospital’s first ablation using Abbott’s Volt™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System!
Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) affects millions, and this new PFA technology represents a major leap forward. Unlike traditional methods that use heat or extreme cold, the Volt system uses high-intensity electrical pulses to selectively treat heart tissue. This means:
• Enhanced Precision: Targeting only the necessary cells.
• Increased Safety: Reducing the risk to surrounding structures.
• Faster Recovery: Getting our patients back to their lives sooner.
A huge congratulations to the team who made this possible.

Most seasonal allergies can be managed with over-the-counter medications and simple lifestyle changes, but it’s important to see a healthcare provider if your symptoms are worsening or affecting your daily life. A conversation with your doctor can help identify triggers and result in recommended treatments so you can make a plan to enjoy spring without discomfort.
