In typical rebellious Amanda fashion, I haven't caved to the societal pressure of "buy this, buy that, half price this, half price that." I've been resting, and fighting technology when I even try to post. Rest won that fight 😜

Surprise!!! Welcome to our new happy place 🥰 As of tomorrow July 22, I'll be seeing everyone in Suite 317. I will be texting individual reminders as your appointment approaches. Thankfully, you will only have to turn around 😁 Considering I moved in 48hrs, there's still some hidden touches to come. Otherwise, I'm excited to start therapy in my new space.

Happy Saturday client fam!

There's going to be another announcement over the next week (ish, I run on -ishs) so be on the lookout 👀😁🎉

But first I gotta address the upcoming schedule adjustments effective mid Aug. I officially have a Kindergartner; my commute for the last 3 daycare years has literally been a race against Waze and 75N, it's time to lower my cortisol levels a bit. Since our new school is a bit further, I need to end sessions by 515, out the building by 530. I will be starting my days a tad earlier to accommodate.

I know this is going to be hard for some of my devoted evening clients given your own schedule. We'll talk at your next session to find a good compromise. I'm praying this will only last a couple years as we adjust to school life and I make other magic happen 😄✨

Online booking has been updated to reflect the changed hours and my 2026 Sats are now bookable too. I also managed to wiggle in a vacation 8/4-8/8, if you haven't booked your Aug appt, ya may wanna jump on it as Aug will book faster as result.

My Story

Welcome! What is Karuna? Pronounced ˈkəru̇ˌnä meaning compassionate action and is one of the fundamental tenants of Buddhism. As an experienced LMT and newly certified CST, I'm constantly striving for my clients to feel nothing less than amazing when the session is over. Since our Western mentality can leave us anxious, overwhelmed, fatigued and; in increasing number of cases, chronically pained, I utilize a variety of modalities to ease all those symptoms. As a fellow chronic pain sufferer, I know what it takes to get up and "adult" everyday. Providing relief is beyond rewarding and has led me to chase after a bigger vision; building a multi-faceted Healing Center. This adventure started two years ago as I branched on my own making wonderful connections along the way. After endless support, inspiration, and necessary challenges, I have laid the foundation for such a center. This is Karuna Touch & Healing. It is a humble beginning; however, as the casual historian in me likes to remind myself and others: Rome was not built in a day. I still have a lot of work to look forward to.
