Today is the last day for our students, Hope and Laura. These girls have put in 200 hours with me here in the clinic. They graduate from UNA in a few weeks and go on to pursue their careers in Physical Therapy. We will miss having them here but wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!!

We’ve all had it at one time or another. It is the most common diagnosis made. It varies in levels of severity and location. It can even involve our lower extremities commonly known as “sciatica”.

What most of us do not realize is that physical therapy should be the first line of defense. Often times just a few visits to PT can vastly improve the severity of pain you are experiencing, and may even help you avoid surgery!

We spend so much of our time looking down at our phones, or at computer screens these days. Neck pain and tension headaches have become far more common in everyday life. There has even been a term coined for it “tech neck.” This can even cause referred symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and pain into the arms and hands.
