We had another wonderful afternoon reading to the students at the Riverbank Charter School! The students absolutely enjoy their weekly reading sessions, as do the resident teachers! Books have a way of connecting generations.

We started working on our Ageless Spirit Campaign of Gratitude! This season, we decorated our This is Us Wall, reflecting what we all are thankful for this season! This is just the start of our campaign, with much more to follow!

Livia, also known as Silly Lily, has always had a passion for reading and writing! At one time, she volunteered at her local elementary school and would read to the students who were learning English! She even would create stories for her own children as they grew up!

Well, Livia has gotten back into writing, and by partnering with Wish of a Lifetime, a dream came true for Miss Silly Lily! Her most recent book, "Happy Hoppy Finds a Friend", has been printed! And with her books in tow, she made a special trip to the Riverbank Charter School to not only read her book to the students that she reads to each week, but also gift them a personal copy for themselves!

This is a dream come true for Miss Silly Lily, and her biggest hope is that she inspires the students of today to find a passion for reading and writing! We're so proud of you, Lily!
