We have Beyfortus available!

Beyfortus is a monoclonal antibody shot that helps prevent RSV infection. It is effective at preventing RSV and preventing severe complications from RSV.

Call Infants' and Children's Clinic to schedule your infant’s appointment to receive Beyfortus. We do request that their insurance be active — it is an expensive shot without insurance!

(The vast majority of insurance companies cover this shot, but call your insurance if you have concerns about coverage.)

An unvaccinated child in North Alabama has tested positive for measles. Contact tracing is underway by Alabama Public Health.

If your child is not up to date on the MMR vaccine, please call the office ASAP to schedule an appointment to get the vaccine.

If you are uncertain of your child’s immunization status, please call us. Typically the MMR vaccine is given at 12 months and 4 years.

The MMR vaccine is a safe and effective way to prevent measles infection.

ADPH was notified today that a child under 5 years of age living in North Alabama has been confirmed to have measles. The unvaccinated child contracted measles while traveling out of the United States. Read our full press release tinyurl.com/48hx2s6z.
