We see some new faces on our page, so we wanted to take a moment to (re)-introduce Dr. Woodford; our founder and fearless leader! 👋

Dr. Woodford received his medical education and completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee-College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in private practice in Florence, AL since 1985. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology until he retired from OB/GYN in 2021. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

After years as a board-certified OB/GYN, he shifted his focus to hormone therapy and integrative wellness, opening Full Life Wellness in 2012 and expanding to Nashville in 2022.

Today, he specializes in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and is actively involved in clinical research studying how testosterone therapy may safely improve quality of life for breast cancer survivors.

Our Story

Dr. Woodford received his medical education and completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee-College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in private practice in Florence, AL since 1985. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 2009, Dr. Woodford began focusing more on his interests in bio-identical hormone therapy for both women and men. In 2012, he opened Full Life Wellness Center where he focuses on pellet hormone therapy, nutrition, and other integrative approaches to health and wellness. He lectures on hormone replacement therapy, nutritional strategies for healthy aging, and holistic pasture management for the production of grass fed beef.
