Welcome to the 2026 Board, Terica Chanale, our very first Partnership & Growth Director!

Terica Gary relocated to Florence, South Carolina, in 2011 from Laurens, SC, bringing with her a strong background in youth/community development and engagement. In 2024 she leveraged her social and networking strengths to support local growth and founded
BlaCoLive Cooperative -Collaborative events planning.

Terica is also the co-founder of Juneteenth Fest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering communities while celebrating the history of freedom in America.

Outside of her professional work, Terica enjoys dancing, hosting, and exploring.

Family, Tootsie’s Everything Waffle will be closed Nov 26-27 to allow our team to rest and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll reopen Friday 11/28 at 10am for business, refreshed and ready to serve you again! 🧇✨

But before we take our break, we’re opening our hearts and our kitchen. 💛
On Wednesday, Nov 26 from 12 PM – 3 PM, we’ll be serving a complimentary meal to the community.
In light of SNAP benefits being affected this season, we want to make sure no one goes without a warm, soulful plate. Just bring your SNAP benefits card for presentation, and come enjoy a meal made with love—our way of saying thank you for being part of the Tootsie’s family.
