Good afternoon, Florence Place friends and family. We are closely monitoring the upcoming winter weather system that may include freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Please be assured that our community has activated our winter weather emergency preparedness plan.
We have confirmed:
• Adequate staffing coverage
• Power outage protocols
• Sufficient food, water, and medications
• Safe indoor environments for residents
At this time, there is no interruption to care. Outdoor activities may be limited for safety, and visitation may be adjusted based on road conditions. Should conditions change, we will communicate updates promptly. You can also reach our Executive Director, Lorie, at 843-699-4593. Thank you for your trust and partnership as we prioritize the safety and comfort of our residents.

Florence Place friends and families you may remember that in October we won the pumpkin decorating contest at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and our prize was naming rights for the next litter of puppies they received. Let us introduce you to Momma Serenity and her babies Sandi, Serena, Sage, Spot, Snickers and Smokey. Our friends at Lucky Dog are entering puppy and kitten season and could use our help, if you or someone you know are able to foster one of these sweet babies or want to volunteer or donate puppy and/or kitten food, please contact Amie at 843-920-6557.
