We provide 24 hr and ADL care, and comfort for all our residents daily. 3 meals and 2 snacks provided a day. Monthly birthday parties and social activities planned. Quality care provided by professional and loving staff.

When Barney told Andy he should just let Opie "decide for himself" how he wanted to live… Andy had these words of wisdom.

"No, I'm afraid it don't work that way. You can't let a young’n decide for himself. He'll grab at the first flashy thing with shiny ribbons on it. Then, when he finds out there's a hook in it, it's too late. Wrong ideas come packaged with so much glitter that it's hard to convince ‘em that other things might be better in the long run. All a parent can do is say 'wait' and 'trust me' and try to keep temptation away."

Somehow... we have lost this basic truth. Too many people are more worried about being their child’s friend, than in being a parent.

At Kathy’s Place assisted living facility, we are dedicated to providing a loving home atmosphere and attention to detail. Kathy’s Place is owned and operated by Kathy Porter. Kathy is a trained professional with over 45 years experience working with the elderly. Kathy specializes in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. We provide 24 hr, ADL care, and comfort for all our residents daily. We strive to be the best by giving the best and loving care to all our Residents. Residents have nutrious local and fresh food served every day and daily excerises to keep mind and body active. Over 2 acres of outside fenced areas for the Residents to enjoy the beautiful views of the Bitterroot Mountains and Florence Valley, wildlife or weather. We have numerous activities for our Residents that range from: painting, Bingo, karoake to social activites, that includes our yearly end of the summer Luau party.
