🎺 Marching Band Memories! 🎶

Last week we celebrated Marching Band Day, and it brought back so many wonderful memories! One of our very own residents, Brenda Johnson, proudly shared a special part of her past with us. Brenda was a majorette for Mayo High School in Darlington, Class of 1982, and she still has the spirit and grace that made her shine all those years ago.

She was sweet — and brave enough — to give us a little demonstration, and it was such a joy to watch! Her enthusiasm and confidence reminded us all that the memories and talents from our younger days never truly fade.

Thank you, Brenda, for sharing a piece of your story with us and bringing a little marching band magic to our day! 💙✨

Everything is better when we do it together—including exercise! Whether it’s a morning stretch, a walk with friends, or a light fitness class, exercising as a group brings energy, encouragement, and plenty of smiles along the way.

Working out with others helps keep us motivated, makes movement more fun, and builds meaningful connections. A little laughter, a little movement, and a lot of support can make a big difference in how we feel each day.

At P*e Dee Gardens, we love seeing our residents stay active and cheer each other on. Because when we move together, we grow stronger together—body, mind, and spirit. 🌸
