Thankfully, we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, Who sees us where we are at and loves us without reserve. He is there to help us overcome and to lead us in every step of life.

𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙙

We like to think we can manage ourselves and even others just fine on our own. But reality is that God is the only one able to change us or anyone else in our lives. If we try to change ourselves in our own power, we will fail to change anything permanently. The best thing we can do for ourselves is surrender to Christ. The best thing we can do for others is pray for them to surrender to Christ.

"You are unable to do for yourself what you need God to do for you. You are either going to serve God or yourself. You can’t serve both."

We had a great night last night! We started Lesson 2: Powerless and were challenged to stop doing 2 things and start doing 2 things -

1. Stop denying the pain.

2. Stop playing God.

1. Start admitting your powerlessness.

2. Start admitting your life has become unmanageable.

Over the next few days, we will highlight aspects of the lesson so far, leading up to the rest of it the next week.
