Nobody better to remind us of who we TRULY ARE🫀
HAPPY 6 YEARS to the one & only Mackenzie Parrott!!!!
Your ability to take a piece of your heart and hand it to people who so desperately need to be saved is such a miracle to witness.
Day in and day out, you come stand on the firing lines and do your best to put a feeling into words. The days add up to weeks, the weeks to months, and the months to years. And while you continue to grow, you never forget to reach down into the trenches to lift people up. Thank you for showing others there is a way out. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Let’s all send Mack big love in the comments!!! Happy 6 years!!!!6️⃣👑

Shall we call this specific commencement …. Founders day??? (That was Scott’s idea🤣)
What a special night. Shane was our speaker and picked up his 7 year chip!! Stephanie celebrated and picked up her 6 year chip. Shout out to our rehab mom & dad!!! We love you both more than words can express. Anyone who knows you both know they have been given a tremendous gift. These two are the perfect example of the responsibility statement :
“I am responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that : I am responsible.”
Your code has impacted innumerable lives. Thank you for giving us all a place to call HOME🪷

One of our alumni, Nik, came from Goose Creek to pick up his 6 month chip! !! We are sooooo proud of you. Thank you for coming back home and being such a light for the culture. We love you!!

Tonight, Mike, who is one of our first Lotus alum, is our is speaker. Mike just celebrated 1 year of continuous sobriety and will be picking up his chip!!!
Come show love and support.
Come be on fire for recovery with us. All are welcome🪷

Everyone help us wish our Susan Gist Dare a very happy birthday!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

She is a walking billboard for “love thy neighbor as thyself.”
Sometimes we’re not sure how she puts up with all the craziness, but she always lets everyone at Lotus (staff included) know how much they are worthy & LOVED.
We cannot begin to explain the amount of times Susan has gone far beyond her job responsibilities - especially the amount of time she has spent on the phone with families being a conscious presence for them and letting them know she understands what they are going through and offering them HOPE. A priceless gift.
We appreciate you and love you more than you know!
Let’s all send Susan a huge happy birthday in the comments!🎈

Sending a special thank you to last week’s commencement speaker, TK! Thank you for your rawness and vulnerability. This guys passion for recovery is electric! You gave everyone in the room an immense feeling of HOPE! A reminder of the power of God, the fellowship, and AA.❤️

Hugh completed and commenced the program🥳
This guy has been such a light in the community. He is sponsoring and staying plugged in here at Lotus and we can’t wait to watch your continued growth. Remember - you ALWAYS have a home here. 🪷

Also sending a huge thank you to Frank, who came and did a workshop on Saturday despite the snow storm! Thank you for the reminder that the dope game didn’t stop during a snow storm - so neither should the recovery game 📘
Your message is always so powerful and we are so grateful to know you.

Join us tonight at 7PM. Our very own Shane is speaking and picking up his 7 year chip! All are welcome 🪷

Cravings are common in early recovery, but they don’t have to dictate your choices.

Eating, hydrating, or resting before reacting can reduce their intensity. Pausing for a few minutes, changing your environment, and talking cravings out loud helps create space between the urge and the action. Grounding techniques can further help reset your focus and regain control.

For support in managing cravings and building coping skills, call Lotus Recovery at (843) 905-2689.

Choosing the right level of care is an important step in a recovery journey. Different programs offer varying levels of structure, support, and intensity depending on individual needs.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) allow someone to stay connected to daily life while participating in therapy and building healthy routines. Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide more structured, day-long support for those who need additional guidance throughout the day. Some individuals may benefit from residential care, which provides 24/7 support in a fully immersive environment.

Each path offers opportunities for growth, learning, and building the skills needed for long-term recovery. If you’re ready to explore your options and find the program that fits your journey, call Lotus Recovery today at (843) 905-2689.

2/1 is a VERY special day 🪷 Today, we celebrate huge milestones in the recovery community!
Stephanie Brunson celebrates 6 YEARS of continuous sobriety while Rebecca Lynn celebrates 3🎉🎉🎉

Stephanie - where do we begin? Quite literally the jack of all trades. There isn’t anything under the sun that Stephanie doesn’t do. Countless hours of juggling every position under the sun while somehow still being our safe place - the mom to all of us. Thank you for being the glue that holds us together!

Becca - your journey has been an absolute miracle to watch. Your gentle heart shows endless strength as you walk through any hurdle thrown your way. Thank you for your compassionate, loving, understanding nature that is felt by all who enter our doors here at Lotus.

So many addicts and alcoholics have benefited from the decision you both made on this day. So we honor this day, and we honor you both for your unwavering strength and dedication to AA.

We love you both beyond measure! Let’s send them love in the comments!!!!
