Transportation is not a luxury for these women—it is essential. It’s how they get to work, attend appointments, meet with probation officers, access counseling, and continue building a stable, independent life.
When transportation barriers exist, everything else becomes at risk.
Reliable transportation directly impacts not just these women, but our entire community. It reduces recidivism, supports long-term recovery, and helps these women become productive, contributing members of society. It means fewer people cycling back through the system and more people thriving, working, and rebuilding their lives.
Right now, we have 46 residents. Three are in our graduate housing program, meaning they have successfully completed the program and are continuing to build self-sufficiency while still receiving accountability and support. Of the 46 women in our care, 42 are employed, and 85% have been involved in the criminal justice system at some point in their lives.
This is why recovery matters. This is why support matters. And this is why we are asking for help from our community because recovery and this program help our community.
If you or your organization can assist with transportation resources, vehicle donations, or funding, please reach out. You are not just helping one person—you are impacting families, futures, and our community as a whole.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in our mission. 💙
