The McLeod Fellows Class toured the Hospice House for their April meeting. They heard from Dr. Vipul Shah, Medical Director, McLeod Hospice and Palliative Care; and Corlie Burr, Administrator, McLeod Hospice.

Perry Griffith, Department Coordinator, spoke about the Butterfly Fund and showed them the Butterfly Cart available for patients and families. They also toured the Hospice House Garden.

McLeod Fellows is a program of the McLeod Foundation that provides a behind-the-scenes view of healthcare at McLeod to create ambassadors for the medical center.

The McLeod Angels were delighted to host Dr. Catherine E. Rabon, McLeod Health Chief Quality Officer, at their April meeting. Dr. Rabon shared valuable insights on Women’s Health and the importance of taking care of yourself at every stage of life. The group also enjoyed a presentation from Jennifer Ward, Group Fitness Instructor at the McLeod Health & Fitness Center.

In addition to the inspiring talks, the Angels held successful donation drives for the Guest House Pantry and the Toy Drive for McLeod Children’s Hospital. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a difference!
