Today was such a fun afternoon ringing in the new year together. We talked about what we had learned in 2025 and our resolutions for 2026. We had our own countdown and even watched our very own “Villa Ball” drop! It was a great time!

Yesterday our residents were visited by Andy from Solar Nails in Flowood! He brought his mother and children and we had a great time doing manicures, working puzzles, eating sweet treats and fellowshipping with each other. Andy was brought to us by Haley who is one of our therapists. Also a special thanks to Jessica with Accent Care for hanging out with us!

Yesterday, Sawyer Ross came and played guitar and sang for us! We loved seeing him and his mom and grandmother again and they love seeing all the residents!

Today the four year olds from Railroad Center Daycare came to sing for us! They were absolutely adorable!!! Thank y’all for coming!!!

When we scheduled Hot Chocolate Day last month we had no idea today would be one of the warmest days of the season so far! But who cares? Hot chocolate in the air conditioning is a common Mississippi Christmas activity! Thank you to Jessica with Accent Care for providing hot chocolate and Christmas cookies!!

Today was our annual Christmas party! We read the Christmas story and A Visit from St. Nicholas, ate snacks, and opened presents! A great time was had by all!

This morning we had a precious homeschool group called The Wild Mockingbirds come in and share their talents with us! We enjoyed them so much!
