I’ve been seeing more and more providers referring to their patients as “clients.”

And while there is an element of customer service in our field, at the end of the day, they are still patients.

Aesthetic medicine is still medicine. These treatments require real training, anatomy knowledge, safety protocols, and clinical judgment.

Using the word patient reinforces that and keeps our specialty aligned with the standards of healthcare, not cosmetic “services.”

So grateful for the opportunity to learn from truly the best of the best. As a surgical PA, anatomy has always been a huge part of my foundation, but seeing facial anatomy through Dr. Cotofana’s perspective was next-level.
