You’ve been diagnosed with a skin cancer… what now?
Mohs excision is often the first step — and with cure rates of 99% for basal cell carcinoma and 97% for squamous cell carcinoma, it’s incredibly effective. ✅
You leave the Mohs surgeon’s office cancer-free… but with a new challenge: a defect where the cancer once lived.
That’s where I come in.
When skin cancers occur near the eyelids, eyebrows, or midface, I reconstruct the area in what’s called a coordinated Mohs procedure — the dermatologist removes the tumor, and I restore form and function.
And when it comes to Mohs reconstruction, time is the biggest factor in healing — the results improve dramatically as the weeks and months pass.
Aside from eyelid surgery, Mohs reconstruction is the surgery I perform most. Proud to help patients look—and feel—whole again. 💛
