You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to recharge. Managing stress starts with small, intentional choices: Take short breaks throughout your day, set healthy boundaries, talk to a professional if stress feels overwhelming.

It is important to remember that someone who shares their feelings of stress with you needs to know that you are someone that will listen and support them, not try to fix them.
Once a person knows you are there to support them, it may be a good time to gently suggest techniques to help manage stress such as being active, spending time in meditation, creating a healthy sleep routine, and eating nutritious food.
