Doing this can help remind you how tiny your child really is. They are not miniature adults but small children who struggle with impulse control and emotional regulation daily.
Their behavior is not intentionaI or manipulative, but developmental. They are doing exactly what children are supposed to be doing - learning to regulate, calm their emotions and express themselves, but they need an adult’s help.
