Job Title: Part-Time Math & Coding Instructor (Grades K–12)
Location: Euless & Flower Mound, TX (flexible to work at both centers; occasional travel to partner schools/community sites)

Role Overview
We’re seeking a passionate, patient Math & Coding Instructor to guide students across our leveled KnM Math curriculum and coding pathways. You’ll deliver small-group instruction that blends math fundamentals with practical technology skills—mentoring students to think critically, create boldly, and become future-ready.
What You’ll Do
Teach engaging, level-appropriate math lessons (K–12) in small groups.
Teach coding & technology courses (ages ~6–18) covering block-based and text-based programming.
Adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and paces; maintain a positive, inclusive classroom.
Use hands-on activities, visuals, real-world examples, and projects to deepen understanding.
Prepare students for standardized tests as needed (STAAR, PSAT, SAT, and others).
Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate with parents as appropriate.
Deliver sessions in-person at our centers and partner sites; occasional online delivery as scheduled.
Travel between Euless and Flower Mound centers (and local partner schools/community sites).
Math Learning Areas by Level (KnM)
KnM Builders (K–4): Numbers & Counting (1–100), Basic Addition/Subtraction, Shapes & Spatial Awareness, Measurement/Comparison, Basic Word Problems, STAAR Prep.
KnM Math Foundations (5–6): Multiplication/Division Mastery, Fractions & Decimals, Ratios & Proportions, Basic Algebra Concepts, Data Analysis & Statistics, STAAR Prep.
KnM Navigators (7–8): Linear Equations & Inequalities, Advanced Fractions & Percents, Probability & Statistics, Geometry & Transformations, Pre-Algebra, STAAR Prep.
KnM Commanders (9–12): Algebra I & II (incl. Advanced), Geometry & Advanced Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebraic Reasoning, Pre-Calculus & Calculus, Statistics & Data Analysis, PSAT/SAT, CAT, STAAR Prep.
Coding & Technology Domains
Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript (plus block-based tools like Scratch).
Technologies & Tracks: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning, Robotics, Web Development (HTML/CSS/JS), Game Development (e.g., Scratch, Unity, Roblox, Minecraft).
Core Skills: Problem-solving, logical/analytical reasoning, computational creativity, project planning.
What We’re Looking For
Strong math knowledge from elementary through advanced high school levels.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or JavaScript).
Comfortable teaching both block-based and text-based programming.
Prior teaching/tutoring or youth mentoring experience preferred (K–12).
Excellent communication; ability to explain complex ideas simply and engagingly.
Patient, encouraging, adaptable teaching style; solid classroom management.
Comfort with online teaching platforms and managing virtual classrooms.
Ability and willingness to travel between Euless and Flower Mound and to local partner sites.
Job Type & Pay
Part-time (up to ~20 hours/week), primarily after school and weekends.
Pay: $18–$22/hour based on experience.
