This research study compared the effects of relaxation to music and yoga nidra on the mental health of frontline healthcare workers during the pandemic. The open-label randomized trial involved a Relaxation-to-Music Group listening to deep relaxation music while Yoga Nidra Group participants practiced yoga nidra. Both interventions were delivered via YouTube and were to be performed daily for 30 minutes during healthcare workers' 2-week duty periods.
The study found that yoga nidra significantly helped in the improvement of depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Read the full study here: https://buff.ly/40QB5Ff
