Even though Bradford Pears with the pretty white flowers don’t cause pollen allergies, their blooming coincides with the start of the Oak pollen season in March.

I wanted to show y’all these adorable farm animals (aka my petting zoo) AND offer a public service announcement for anyone who’s recently moved to TX from northern latitudes that have not been invaded by Fire Ants. This video shows a large quiet fire ant mound & the next one is what happens when you disturb it. A small % of the population can have anaphylaxis to fire ant stings so it’s important to teach your little ones to avoid these mounds. 🐜
