TINNITUS EVALUATION & TREATMENT- If you suffer from Tinnitus, or ringing in your ears, you are not alone. Consult an audiologist to help evaluate tinnitus and develop your management program. We help provide relief, which means a more enjoyable life for you. HEARING AID DEVICES- Today’s hearing aids are discreet, comfortable, and natural sounding. The Hearing Center of Jackson can identify which hearing aids are the best fit for your hearing loss and lifestyle. Each individual has a unique hearing loss and each person’s needs and lifestyle are different. Because of this, we offer many options in hearing instruments, including all the latest technology. COCHLEAR IMPLANTS- While hearing aids are the most commonly used solution for people with hearing loss, some people are better served by cochlear implants. A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device for people with severe-to-profound hearing loss. It works by transforming sounds into electrical signals that are sent straight to the auditory nerve. This means that it can bypass the damaged areas of the ear. Cochlear implants do not cure hearing loss or restore hearing, but they do provide an opportunity for the severely hard of hearing or deaf to perceive the sensation of sound by bypassing the damaged inner ear. Unlike hearing aids, they require surgical implantation. HEARING AID REPAIR & MAINTENANCE- Despite your best efforts, at some point your hearing aids may require repair. If you ever have trouble with the hearing aids, give us a call as a deep clean may be all you need. We recommend visiting your audiologist for a “deep clean” every 6 months, as we have specialized cleaning equipment. HEARING ACCESSORIES-Premium batteries, Water protection ear plugs, Noise protection for musicians and sportsmen, Custom ear molds for hearing aids, iPods, and MP3s
