Last week at our St. Louis office, we held our quarterly Distributor Product Training with a hands-on kyphoplasty session focused on real-world application and procedural readiness.

The lab reinforced the preparation and precision required to support surgeons in the OR and the patients they serve.

It was a packed house at Zavation’s St. Louis office as we welcomed DxTx for a day of collaboration and hands-on learning. The visit included a tour of our manufacturing facility and demonstrations of commonly performed procedures, with a focus on SI and vertebral augmentation using our Siber? Ti Sacroiliac Joint Fusion System and ZVplasty? System. Dr. Freeland Ackley recently performed a 2-level ACDF using this latest technology. A sacroiliac joint fusion procedure performed using the Zavation SInapse® SI Fusion System with a posterior oblique approach. The system’s self-tapping, self-drilling screw design and purpose-built instrumentation supported the surgeon’s intended screw placement. In this procedure, the surgeon reported improvement in the patient’s SI joint–related pain. It was an honor to welcome Dr. Matthew Darlow (TX) to our St. Louis office for a cadaver lab, product overview, and facility tour. The lab focused on direct lateral with MIS screws and OLIF technique, with valuable collaboration alongside Distributor Geoff Jones and Rachel Moon (Future Surgical), RVP Nathan Teague, and Area VP Jeff Mathews.
