Whether you are in need of treatment for an injury, or you simply want to gain control of physical challenges, the therapists at The Strength Center can help. Our physical therapy clinic offers a personal, hands-on-approach. Each persons plan of care is individualized to the person and/or injury. We listen and discuss treatment options to get you back to where you need to be. You will never be left unsupervised or feel that you are on your own. We treat you like family as we coach you through each stage of your recovery. Through great customer service and an uplifting, Christian environment, The Strength Center provides a wide array of interventions such as myofacial release, low level laser, neuromuscular reeducation, joint mobilization, ergonomic assessment, injury prevention plus much more. We also provide ongoing reassessments to ensure that you are progressing as needed. Independently owned and operated by Mark Ware PT, The Strength Center is conveniently located in Flowood, Mississippi near River Oaks Hospital.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved coworker and dear friend, Lisa Shipp Lake, a dedicated physical therapist at The Strength Center Physical Therapy Clinic.

To honor her life and memory, our clinic will be closed on Tuesday, October 7th as we attend her funeral.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Lisa’s legacy by wearing Mississippi State colors on Thursday, October 9th. This small gesture is a way for us to come together and remember the impact she had on all of our lives.

Lisa’s kindness, compassion, and commitment to her patients and colleagues will never be forgotten.

We have WONDERFUL news we want to share!

The Mississippi Chapter of APTA (APTA-Mississippi) is very excited to announce that yesterday Governor Tate Reeves signed Senate Bill 2072, which allows a Mississippi citizen to seek the care of a physical therapist without a physician referral. This will go into effect on July 1, 2024. This is a big win for Mississippians, giving us greater access to the healthcare we need and deserve.
This legislative success is due to the years of hard work from countless members of our profession. I would like to thank our President David Friloux and Past President Meg King for their advocacy and leadership. We also thank Steve Corbitt, our lobbyist, for his years of service to our profession and steady guidance through this legislative session. We would not have been able to move our bill without his positive relationships and leadership. Finally, we thank Senator Kevin Blackwell (bill sponsor), Representative Becky Currie (bill sponsor), Chairman Sam Creekmore, Chairman Hob Bryan, Subcommittee Chairwoman Angela Turner Ford, Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, House Speaker Jason White, and Governor Reeves for helping us move our profession forward in Mississippi.
This is a great day for our profession!
