We face challenges every day. All of the small challenges ass up to big things. Sometimes big things are the challenge. Like giant tires that outsize and outweigh you! Ask Dr. Woo how many times he had to turn this bad boy over in his swim training on your next visit!

Be sure to ask Dr. Woo about his last vacation when you come into the clinic. It involves a hotel with an olympic pool and a tough as nails trainer. Dr. Woo can fill you in from there!

Happy Halloween from Dr. Woo's Diabetes and Endocrine Institute! Dr. Woo is dressed as an Olympic Swimmer this year, but it is close to cheating. Dr. Woo is continuously challenging himself and is about to embark on an epic trip to Thailand to meet with a swim coach and endure some serious training. More to come!

Try to guess what color Dr. Woo's speedos are today. You will only find out at the pool! 🤩

A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) is a huge game changer if you are checking your finger. Not only do you get a read on your blood glucose level every 5 minutes, you have a history and can get a sense for where your number is heading. GAME CHANGER!

And, when a CGM "speaks" to an insulin pump, you can level up your game again.

A CGM is one of your fundamental tools in easing stress and dramatically improving results in managing your blood glucose numbers.

Our Practice

Dr. Woo and his team provide care supported by years of education, degrees, awards, and above all, patient success. Dr. Woo is a board-certified endocrinologist, an award-winning, certified diabetes educator, and he strives to be a guiding light for all of his patients.

At the Diabetes and Endocrine Institute, we focus on developing a complete treatment for our patients. Comprehensive treatment includes regular medical checkups, labs, medications, and technology, such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose meters, but does not stop there. Lifestyle and technology education is also a critical aspect to patients’ health and well-being.

The Diabetes and Endocrine Institute has regular classes, nutrition workshops, and seminars on topics from proper insulin pump usage, to lifestyle choices and impacts, to cooking demonstrations. During the holidays, special events are held to help patients navigate their way through family meals and even grocery shopping tips. Patients are encouraged to embrace healthy choices and the reason behind them. An educated patient will make better choices and enjoy a fuller, happier life with the impact those choices have on their daily life.

We call this comprehensive approach to living with Diabetes Woo Shui.
