Rankin County Young Professionals | Maggie Jones
Maggie Jones is currently employed at NewSouth Neurospine. She graduated from Brandon High School and continued her education at the University of Mississippi and then completing her studies at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys a variety of hobbies, including traveling, antique shopping, and reading.
Her decision to return to Rankin County after completing her education was deeply personal and professional. She credits Rankin County and the Rankin County School District for shaping her into the person she is today. Attending Brandon schools from kindergarten through 12th Grade allowed her to discover her career passion through the BHS Health Science Academy, a program she is grateful for due to the incredible opportunities and experiences it provided. She remains thankful for the top-notch public schools in the county and the opportunities they provide to every student.
Maggie attributes much of her personal growth to the profound impact of Shea Carter. She emphasizes that Shea has pushed and encouraged her through every season of life, demonstrating a uniquely caring and kind heart toward everyone she meets. Maggie feels incredibly fortunate to have Shea in her life. This appreciation for others is reflected in the best piece of advice she has ever received: "Always be kind and empathetic to others, you never know what other people are going through."
