We continue to stand with the American Academy of Pediatrics and support the recommended vaccine schedule, which is based on science and evidence, not political opinion. We understand this is a difficult time with so much misinformation, and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

🦠 Norovirus is going around.
We are seeing a rise of cases of this very contagious stomach virus, especially among young children.

What to watch for:
Sudden vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and low-grade fever.

It is important to make sure your child does not become dehydrated. Offer Gatorade, Pedialyte, or warm soda pop in small amounts every 20 minutes until they can keep liquids down. If they are unable to tolerate fluids, pause for 2 hours and then try again with small sips.

If your child has fewer wet diapers, no tears, or appears limp or lethargic, they may be dehydrated and should be seen in our office.

Please keep your child home until 48 hours after symptoms resolve, and encourage frequent handwashing with soap and water.

We’re here if you have concerns or need guidance.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Mukkamala for his recent assistance in addressing the issue of under reimbursement for the cost of vaccines for our office. His support and advocacy have made a meaningful difference, and we truly appreciate his commitment to working alongside physicians on these critical matters.
