We've started February with a fun-packed week. On Monday, as we anticipated the results of Punxsutawney Phil, we enjoyed some “Groundhog” biscuits. We weren’t too excited about his shadow being seen. But all that was forgotten when we had a beautiful lunch on Tuesday at GT’s on the Bay. Then we had a treat when Gina from Right at Home and Christine with Amedisys showed up and showed us how to make flowers.💐 🌹 🌺

Today, during “Taste Testing,” we broke out the Girl Scout Cookies. We tried all nine varieties. Our panel of experts considered each one, and the votes are in, and the results are: #1 Adventurefuls. #2 Caramel DeLites. #3 Lemonades. Yummy!!!!! 😋 🍪 🤩

This beautiful afternoon was ideally suited for our Winter Wonderland Soup and Salad Social, where residents, homeowners, and guests enjoyed some hearty soups, salads, and wonderful desserts, along with great conversation and company.

Our residents gathered this week to celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday🎉 And we celebrated the best way we know how, with food. We honored The King 👑 with his favorite food, peanut butter and banana 🍌 sandwiches🥪 . We also shared some of our favorite Elvis memories while listening to his music🎶 and we were surprised to learn a few things about him through trivia.
