🌟🇺🇸🌟 HAPPY VETERANS DAY 🌟🇺🇸🌟

Yesterday at CountryHouse Folsom, we had the honor of celebrating our veteran residents with a heartfelt Veterans Day Pinning Ceremony with American River Healthcare.

Each of our heroes received a special pin and certificate as a small token of our deep gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

It was a touching afternoon filled with smiles, stories, and community pride and of course, festive snacks to share in the celebration! 🧁✨

We are so honored to care for those who have given so much for our country. Thank you to all who served today and every day, we salute you. ❤️💙

🎃 Spooktacular Recap! 👻

We had an absolutely fa-boo-lous time celebrating Halloween here at CountryHouse Folsom! 🧡🖤

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon complete with festive cupcakes and delightful drinks! 🧁The whole place was buzzing, especially when our incredible staff dressed up in their fun and creative costumes!

The celebration was capped off with a fantastic happy hour, featuring the amazing tunes and entertainment of one of our favorite performers, Tom! He truly brought the house down and kept everyone smiling and tapping their feet. 🎶

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful day at one of our favorite autumn destinations—Apple Hill! From creative local vendors and delicious pies to the charming pumpkin patch, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🍂🥧🎃

Over the weekend, our wonderful Scouts from BSA Troop 107 stopped by to lead a fun tree craft activity! 😊🖌️🌳

Our residents had such a great time expressing their creativity, sharing stories, and connecting across generations. We’re always inspired by these amazing young ladies and the thoughtful ways they choose to spend time with our residents.

🌟 Relaxation and comfort are part of what make life at CountryHouse Folsom so special. Our wonderful therapist, Angie, visits regularly to offer gentle, therapeutic massages for our residents—helping ease tension, improve circulation, and bring a sense of calm to the day.

Each session is personalized to meet individual needs, and it’s always such a joy to see our residents finish feeling refreshed and at peace, with smiles that say it all. 💛

Recently our residents had an extra sweet outing to Ben & Jerry's (Folsom)! 😋🍦

As always it was love at first scoop from classic chocolate to their infamous half baked flavor, everyone found a flavor to enjoy, and even some new flavor favorites.

Big congratulations to Chef Maya Wilson from CountryHouse - Folsom, CA on being featured in The New York Times! 🎉 Her mouthwatering Kenai Dip—a smoky jalapeño cheese dip—was highlighted in a recent article.

Maya is not only an incredible chef bringing joy to residents every day, but also a published author of The Alaska from Scratch Cookbook, filled with her signature creative, homemade recipes.

Over the weekend our awesome volunteers from Baking for Others, took the time to demonstrate how to bake snickerdoodle cookies in spirit of fall🍪🍁

Our dining rooms were full of cinnamon sugar scents and brought our residents fond memories of this time of year.
