Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks or constant worrying. Sometimes, it’s procrastination. Overthinking. Irritability. Feeling stuck or unable to relax, even when everything seems fine on the surface.

When anxiety builds up over time, it can leave both the mind and body feeling tense and overwhelmed. Brainspotting is a powerful brain-body therapy that helps identify and release where these emotions are stored, allowing for deeper healing and regulation.

If anxiety has you feeling stuck, our therapists can help you reconnect with a sense of calm and clarity. Reach out to us today to learn more. 🩵

Healing is often quieter than we expect. It can look like taking a deep breath instead of reacting, choosing rest instead of pushing through, or feeling something you used to avoid.

Even when it doesn’t feel visible, your brain and body are working together in powerful ways. Trust the small shifts because they’re adding up. 🤍

If you’re ready for more support on your healing journey, we’re here to help.

There’s a common misconception that trauma only lives in the mind as thoughts, memories, or emotions. But trauma is stored in the body, too.

It can show up as tension, fatigue, headaches, or chronic pain, all signs of a nervous system that’s been pushed beyond its capacity to regulate. Healing means addressing both the body and the mind, so you can begin to feel safe again in your own skin.

If you’re ready to start that process, contact us at Pacific Counseling & Trauma Center to connect with a therapist who understands trauma from the inside out. 💙

It’s easy to confuse Brainspotting and EMDR — both are powerful, evidence-based therapies that help people process trauma and release distress stored in the body. 💫

While EMDR follows a more structured approach using rhythmic eye movements, Brainspotting helps clients access deep emotional healing through a single point of focus. Each can be effective in different ways, depending on your needs and how you process best.

At Pacific Counseling & Trauma Center, we offer both Brainspotting and EMDR so you can explore the approach that feels right for you. 🩵 Contact us today to learn more!

Perfectionism often looks like overworking, overplanning, or constantly chasing “just right.”

Under the surface, there’s usually much more happening—things like fear of failure, tying your worth to achievements, or feeling like you always need to be in control.

At Pacific Counseling & Trauma Center, we help you get to the root of these patterns. Through Brainspotting and other evidence-based therapies, we work with the nervous system to release the stress and self-criticism that perfectionism often hides.

✨ If you feel ready to explore what’s beneath the surface, contact us today to start your healing journey.

If you’re new to Brainspotting, it can be hard to picture how it actually works.

👀 Brainspotting uses specific points in your visual field—called brainspots—that are linked to where trauma and distress can feel “stuck” in the body. By focusing on these points, the brain and body can begin to process and release what’s been held onto for so long. ➡️ Swipe through to learn more.

If you’ve been curious about Brainspotting or want support on your own healing journey, reach out to Pacific Counseling & Trauma Center to learn more. 💙

TRAUMA THERAPY:

Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center specializes in Brainspotting, one of the most cutting edge emotional trauma therapies available. It allows the client to channel the healthy "head" knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident. This provides rapid and long lasting change in the client.
