Training for Life Outside of the Gym
Johanna had a flat on lap 2.
A competitor gave Johanna a CO2 cartridge, and another dad on the course was able to help Johanna get the tire pumped up to keep going. The tire kept leaking slowly and was half flat on the last lap, but Johanna wasn't about to give up. She finished next to last after a really good start.
My race was fun, but Novice 50 - 59 is a competitive group. And apparently, there's a bunch of us!
I'm not sure where I finished, but I did finish.

The first step in being cool 😎 Is looking cool Johanna is on point and locked In

58 year old Novice!
is riding Pro HS today in the XC Mountain Bike Race, so dad finally signed up to race as well!
Pro/Expert does 3 laps while Novice only has 1 lap.
I will consider it a "cool down recovery ride" after yesterday's 20 miles out Darrington!

Don't tell me it's yours, just come and get it!
