Our Breathwork Class began with a heart-opening Cacao Ceremony, setting the tone for deep release, reflection, and renewal. 💫

Fabulous fungi

Scientists studying Chernobyl’s ruins discovered fungi that have mutated to feed on nuclear radiation.

The organisms, called radiotrophic fungi, contain melanin pigments that absorb ionizing radiation and convert it into chemical energy, much like how plants use sunlight in photosynthesis.

First observed growing on the reactor walls decades after the 1986 disaster, the fungi astonished researchers by thriving in one of the most inhospitable environments on Earth.
Their ability to adapt challenges assumptions about where life can exist and how it can evolve.

Some scientists are now exploring whether these fungi could be used to protect astronauts from cosmic radiation during long space missions or help decontaminate radioactive waste on Earth.

In both science and spirit, this discovery carries a profound message: even in the shadows of destruction, life finds a way to transform harm into nourishment—turning darkness into energy, and survival into resilience.

An old friend of mine once gave me a wooden plank that reads”walk your talk.” So when my daughter said let’s go through your closet and ditch the synthetics, I agreed that it was time and boy oh boy, let me tell you, some really sad moment with a few pieces. But some things too that just didn’t “feel” right for me either. Purge of everything including my under garments!! Layers of wellness and high vibes feels good to my skin!!
