During ketamine infusion therapy, some patients notice sensations that feel unusual, but they’re typically short-lived.
The most common is dissociation. Not everyone experiences it, but when it does happen, clinics expect it and monitor closely.
You may also feel light dizziness, floating sensations, or sedation, which is exactly why treatment happens in a supervised setting with patients supported and continuously observed.
