Along the porch in front of the shop, I still have elderflowers and Spanish needles blooming - this is the latest I have ever seen them bloom - so there will be some harvesting happening in the coming weeks! Elderflowers are a great addition to tea blends, and make a useful tincture. They support people when they are suffering with colds, flus and fevers. They are also very helpful for a runny nose and congested sinuses. I am hearing of a lot of this going around right now. Have you ever wondered at how the natural "medicine" we need becomes available right as we need it? Likewise, Spanish Needles, also known by it's botanical name: Bidens pilosa, exhibits a wide spectrum of medicinal properties, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, liver-protective, and diuretic qualities. I like to make a tincture with it and blend into immune boosting formulas, but I was reading about its retinol content and may mix it into some face serum this season.

I have been moving residences this past week, so I am a little behind on herbal production. Many of you are awaiting the return of my Herbal Gift Boxes. I am going to release the order forms next week and have orders shipped by December 17, with local pickup & delivery until December 22. Plan to get your orders in as soon as the order forms are released, because inventory will likely sell out!

After four years of studying and practicums, I am very proud to officially announce that I have achieved Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist status. I am working to achieve Instructor Certification from the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education, so more practicum sessions are available, and I plan to offer classes in the summer. This past Saturday, I attempted a return demo for the Raindrop and Vitaflex techniques with a supervisory instructor from the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education ... and I passed!!!

The seed of this accomplishment was planted in my heart in 2014, when I began my distributorship with Young Living Essential Oils and started to crave more knowledge. This has been a long faith-filled journey that feels like it has only just begun.

In just a few more swipes of the pen, I will be a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist - a designation that has taken almost 5 years - and tons of spiritual growth - to complete.

At this time, I desire to attain status as a CARE Certified Instructor of Raindrop, Vitaflex, Emotional Release and the History of Anointing, as well as a practitioner of Vibrational Raindrop Technique.
