Community Health Workers (CHWs) help make that possible by working directly with families whether that is connecting them to resources, providing care at field sites, and supporting healthier pregnancies and postpartum experiences.

Our Program Coordinator Tijana Williams had the honor of leading this months Parent Cafe at the Children's Museum of Fond du Lac.

Families got to learn and talk about “Fostering Roots for Eating Smart and Healthy” at home including topics like…

🥦 How to encourage picky eaters,
🥦 Family friendly meals, and
🥦 How to build healthy on-the-go snack packs!

Each family got to build and take home their own snack packs putting in practice what they learned AND two lucky winners took home prize packs with toys, books, and more provided by Ebony Vision's Lending Library and the Extension Fond du Lac County Food Wise program.

Thank you to SPROUTS and the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac for hosting this incredible resource for local families.
