Uptime isn’t just a tech KPI, It’s a leadership issue.

When imaging equipment goes down, it impacts scan volume, patient flow, staffing, and revenue. It affects the data your C-suite sees every month.

If your machines are constantly “almost fixed” or “waiting on parts,” it’s not just a technical problem, it’s a strategic one.

Imaging leaders who manage uptime well don’t just fix problems. They prevent them.

When planning your next imaging upgrade or purchase, what cost do you find hardest to estimate?

A. Installation and facility prep
B. Ongoing maintenance and helium refills
C. Downtime during transition
D. Power infrastructure upgrades

Some of the biggest expenses aren’t in the equipment quote—they’re in what you didn’t think to ask.
SWMR helps facilities plan ahead, avoid surprises, and stay on budget from day one.

Which would you rather have?
A vendor who sends weekly reports
or
A partner who acts on them before you ever notice an issue

At SWMR, we believe monitoring only matters if it comes with action.

Every imaging department has a story about poor service.

Late arrivals. Misdiagnosed issues. The wrong part ordered...again.

It’s not just frustrating, it’s expensive. Downtime stacks up. Staff schedules are disrupted. Patient care takes the hit. Reliable imaging service isn’t just about technical skills. It’s about consistency, communication, and follow-through.

If your team has to follow up more than once, the service isn’t working.

Planning for a Mobile MRI? Don’t Forget the Patient Lift.

One of the most overlooked mobile MRI setup issues?
Clearance for the patient lift.

The lift can extend up to 8 feet from the trailer. If your site layout doesn’t account for that, you risk delayed installs or access problems for non-ambulatory patients.

Tip: Always verify lift clearance and patient flow during site planning, not after delivery.

You arrive Monday morning, and your MRI is offline. Again.
In your experience, what usually ends up being the root cause?

A. A coldhead that’s been failing for days
B. A chiller issue no one flagged
C. Helium loss over the weekend
D. No service contract in place to catch it in time

These problems don’t show up overnight. They build quietly.
The question is, how early are you catching them?

Mobile MRIs require a 480V, 3-phase power connection, generators alone won’t cut it during scans.

Tip: Before delivery, confirm your facility’s electrical setup matches the scanner’s requirements to avoid last-minute delays.
