90/90 with Internal Rotation
Hip mobility matters, especially on the ice. This drill helps improve internal hip rotation, which is key for powerful skating strides, smooth pivots, and quick transitions. For goaltenders, it directly supports stronger butterfly positions and faster lateral pushes.
When hips move better, athletes move better and injury risk goes down.
How to do it:
Sit on the ground in a 90/90 position. Keeping your chest tall and knee down, lift the back foot as high as you can without leaning forward. Move slow and stay controlled.
