🦃 🍂 EDIT: Thanks to an additional donor, Ford City Public Library is now able to give away TEN additional Thanksgiving Dinner Kits! The giveaway is also now open to non-library members. Please stop in the library to sign up! If sign-ups exceed 10 families, names will be drawn at random. Families will be contacted for pick up on Friday 11/21 - kits must be picked up by Monday 11/24.

Ford City Public Library is humbled by the generosity of one of our patrons! Thanks to an anonymous donor, we will be giving away 4 Thanksgiving dinner kits to library members in need.

The kits will include all the fixings (turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes, potatoes, canned veggies, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, rolls, and a no-bake pie mix) to feed 4-6 people.

Those in need must stop in the library to sign up. On Friday 11/21, four members will be drawn at random and contacted to pick up their dinner kits.

Details:
Kits must be picked up by Monday 11/24
Those signing up must have an active FCPL membership
Eligibility is on the honor system
No duplicate signups, please (one per family to keep things fair)

I’m excited to announce a Small Business Saturday Community Raffle, created to support local families in need through Neighborleaf Network . All proceeds will go toward purchasing essential items and holiday assistance for families right here in our community.

You can enter starting today, and tickets will also be available in person during the Ford City Cookie Crawl at the L.A. Club on November 29 starting at 9:30am hosted by Ford City Area Business and Professional Association . The raffle drawing will take place on December 1, 2025.
