Two days before he took off around the world, Residents were treated to a fun visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Buddy the Elf and Noelle! The day was made even more special with festive crafts, cookies and hot chocolate for our community.

We were thrilled to welcome the Forest Hills Girl Scouts for a wonderful evening of holiday connection! Together, we shared a creative craft session, sang classic carols, and even enjoyed some delicious Girl Scout Cookies.

It was a joy to see community members and scouts bonding over these festive activities and sharing the spirit of the season. We truly appreciate the Forest Hills Girl Scouts for spending their evening with us and bringing so much energy and holiday cheer to our community!

Juniper Village at Forest Hills is proud to announce our December 2025 “Associate of the Month” award recipient, Nancy Reynolds! Nancy has been a valued Juniper associate since 2019. Members of our Resident Council nominated Nancy, noting her friendliness and her helpfulness. As a front desk Concierge, Nancy is often the first person you meet when you walk through our doors! We invite you to join our monthly Caregiver Support Group on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:00 AM with Gateway Hospice. This gathering offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who understand the caregiving journey while exploring resources to help maintain your own balance and well-being.

We were so fortunate to be visited by the parishioners from Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Pittsburgh, PA as they spread Christmas cheer throughout our community!

‘Twas the day before Thanksgiving… and we all needed a break from holiday prep! We’re so thankful for our amazing associates at Juniper Village at Forest Hills! As a small token of our appreciation, associates had a Subway lunch on us and enjoyed some down time together (and a mental break from thinking about all that cooking the next day!)

It’s not often that an entire department can claim the “Hero of the Month” award, but that’s exactly what happened for our September, October, and November HEROES! It doesn’t take a title to be a LEADER, and these three ladies led our Connections Department seamlessly while our new Connections Director was coming aboard. How fortunate are we to have three such creative, enthusiastic individuals as our Connections Assistants? Their commitment to residents shines every day, and we are so thankful to have them on our Team, “Nurturing the Spirit of Life!"
