Some days call for slow, simple comfort — the kind that fills your home with warmth and your heart with gratitude. This crockpot BBQ chicken is one of those meals — sweet, tangy, a little spicy, and full of flavor.
✨ Hot Honey Crockpot BBQ Chicken (Serves 4-6)
You’ll need:
• 1 bottle Burman’s Hot Honey Barbecue Sauce (from Aldi — no high fructose corn syrup!)
• ¼ cup apple cider vinegar with the mother or ¼ cup water if you prefer less tang
• 1½ lbs chicken breast
• Olive oil or Avocado oil
• Seasonings
Steps:
1️⃣ Lightly oil crockpot with olive oil or avocado oil.
2️⃣ Pour in apple cider vinegar (or water).
3️⃣ Add chicken and season with salt and pepper — our favorite is Osmo Chicken Seasoning.
4️⃣ Pour Burman’s Hot Honey Barbecue Sauce over top.
5️⃣ Cook on high for 1 hour, then low for 6 hours until tender and juicy.
6️⃣ Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to coat in the sauce.
Layer the bbq on homemade bread or your favorite buns, with creamy coleslaw and Fire & Ice pickles (we love Ukrops’ Pickled Cucumber Salad).
