With My Fur-Ever Friend by Rest Ashured, we want to make sure you feel supported and comforted during this difficult time. Our simple, caring process lets you honor your pet with ease and peace of mind:

1. Choose your service. (Scatter Garden or Tree Dedication) and complete the online checkout process to place your order.
2. Watch for a package. An official USPS "Cremated Remains" box with all necessary packing materials will be shipped directly to you.
3. Ship the package to us. Depending on you location, a personal pick-up may also be an option.
4. Receive a Certificate of Release and picture of your pet's memory stone in its permanent location.

On this first day of spring, a season of renewal, it’s time to reflect on how to honor our loved ones.

With our services, you can mourn on your own timeline and send your loved one's ashes to us when you're ready.

Then, you'll have a place to visit each year during our "Day of Celebration." Typically, we hold it in late spring or early summer — opening up our property so that loved ones can visit and remember.

We send an email to everyone prior to this date with details about the event and how to access the property.

This is a moment to release what remains and embrace the process of healing. Here's to a hopeful and renewed spring!

For years, Rest Ashured has been helping families after the loss of a loved one through our mountaintop cremation scattering garden in Amherst County, Virginia.

Now, with our “My Fur-Ever Friend” services, Rest Ashured offers pet owners a dedicated scatter garden of their own in an amazingly serene setting. Our site features a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and overlooks a waterfall on the James River. We think it’s hard to imagine a more beautiful place to lay a pet to rest.

Your pet’s ash scattering will be handled in a loving and dignified manner. When we receive the package from you, we will respectfully scatter the ashes, then send you a Certificate of Release and a photo of your pet’s stone in the garden or beneath a tree.

We are a small, family-owned business dedicated to honoring God and all His creation. One way we feel we can best do that is to offer the land He’s blessed us with to help others – specifically those in need of a final resting place for a loved one.

After the loss of a loved one, we realized how important it is to have a meaningful and peaceful place to honor those who've passed. What started as a way to offer others an honorable final resting place has turned into a mission to serve, support, and give back. We're so thankful for this journey, and we're excited to continue serving others with love and purpose.
