šļøā ļøDEADLINE FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS IS TODAY, 3-31-26!
I donāt usually ask for things like this, but this one matters.
There are proposed rule changes in Texas that could limit access to non-invasive services like the ones I provide (massage, PEMF, etc.) unless they are performed by or directly supervised by a veterinarian.
If passed, this could make it much harder for me to continue serving your horses the way I currently doāand could also make these services less accessible and more expensive for you.
If youāve ever felt like my work has made a difference for your horseās comfort, mobility, or overall wellness, I would truly appreciate your support.
A quick email sharing your experience or support can make an impact:

Dear Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners,
I am writing as a horse owner who relies on non-invasive wellness services such as massage and PEMF to support my horseās comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
These services have been an important part of my horseās care routine and are something I choose as an informed and responsible owner. The proposed rule changes that would require these services to be performed only by or under the supervision of a veterinarian would make them significantly less accessible and more expensive.
I value having the ability to work with trained, experienced practitioners who provide these services safely and professionally. Limiting access to these providers would reduce my options as an owner and could negatively impact my horseās quality of life.
I respectfully ask the Board to consider a more balanced approach that:
- Allows informed owner choice
- Recognizes qualified non-veterinary practitioners
- Establishes reasonable guidelines without unnecessary restrictions
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
