Update on the proposed Texas rule changes š
The Veterinary Board has announced that the proposed rules will NOT be presented at the April meeting.
This is a really positive signāit shows that voices are being heard. š
BUT⦠this is not over.
The rules have not been canceled. They can still be revised and brought back at a later date, which means continued feedback still matters.
If youāve been thinking about speaking up, now is still the time. Real experiences from horse owners carry weight and help shape these decisions.
You can send your comments to:
š§ board.comments@tdlr.texas.gov
You can also consider reaching out to your elected officials to share how access to non-invasive services like massage and PEMF impacts you and your horse. These decisions affect small businesses, animal owners, and access to care across our communities.
Even a few sentences about your horse and why this matters to you can make a difference.
Thank you to everyone who has already spoken upāyou are making an impact. Letās keep going. š¤
