Bring your kiddo to come pick out a sensory bin / items with me as well! 🥰🤍🩷✨

We hope you will come join us tomorrow morning! We've got several vendors (new ones too!), great volunteers, live music and activities for the kiddos! Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4449 Auxiliary and Rusty Nails Cowboy Church will be there helping vendors setup and offering fun activities for the kiddos!

here’s another item I will be offering, functional fine motor manipulatives! i use things like this often in my therapy sessions!
benefits include:
-children learn to twist tops
-motor skills increased by dumping out straws
-increasing fine motor skills by placing the straw into the small container top (also hand eye coordination)
-increased cognitive development by problem solving

All of the above to also mention it is FUNCTIONAL, a life skill kiddos need to learn, putting a straw in a cup! 👏🏼

hey friends 👋🏼 let’s have a “talk about it tuesday”

I wanted to give a little bit more information on my sensory bins that I am making… To me, these aren’t just cutesy items thrown together in a bin, they are a developmental tool that I plan out with great thought and detail. My sensory bins are uniquely categorized and put together, I pair filler / treasures / tools / scoops / etc. with items that should go together. This isn’t an idea I had from pinterest, it is a part of my degree! And if you know me, you know I LOVE my job! I have specialized in Early Intervention Occupational Therapy where I have gotten to serve developmentally delayed / special needs children for going on NINE years now! I am using the knowledge / skills I have learned to help curate items to help your children develop further at home! There are SO MANY benefits to sensory bins that go beyond just the textures. I created this flyer to highlight a few of the benefits your child can gain from my sensory bins! Please feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

hey friends 👋🏼

i have decided to make my side hobby a side hustle. i have worked in pediatric therapy for going on nine years now and have made many of these. i also give them as birthday party gifts because i know how many toys kids acquire in a short period of time and these are different! i decided to take a step away from the traditional rice bins and add some fun to them! i have even made safe ones for littles if they were to have a bite or two! there’s truly something for all ages / interests.

i will be at the forrest city farmer’s market next saturday and hope to see you then! come see what i’ve got!🤍
