Hello All! Tanara here again with another snippet of our Arrowhead Ranch Journey story. So this getting in front of the camera still proves a challenge…but I do like challenges!:):)

I have been asked how Arrowhead Ranch Journeys came to be. Well, it all started when we had the opportunity to purchase this little slice of heaven in the Highwood Mountains in 2003. We were in the ranching life at the time. With six children and a ranch to run, we had little time to travel for family vacations. We built our place in the mountains as a place to gather, create family traditions and memories, and most importantly to share our stories.

As time progresses, and the kids are building lives of their own in various places, Arrowhead Ranch remains a place for family, friends, and gathering.

Next time I will share a little history of the place and buildings.

We hope you all created some special memories during this Thanksgiving Holiday. Here’s a little taste of ours up at Arrowhead Ranch…

Memories were made, stories were shared… and all that comes with it…a great grandmother, grandmothers, daughters, sons, siblings, grandchildren, babies, surprise visitors, favorite recipes, lots of laughs, a few tears, late nights, cards and games, and some quibbles…but all of that is part of what makes a good story isn’t it?❤️🙌❤️

Hey everyone!! Tanara here. Very rarely do I get in front of the camera, but my good friend and artist, Coila Evans, spent some time with me at Arrowhead Ranch Journeys and captured some special moments in the mountains. We hiked, ate some wonderful food, shared stories, and painted.

I thought a good way to get front and center would be to share snippets of me and my journey with you from time to time. So here goes…

I am married to a retired rancher and now an avid fisherman. I have 6 wonderful grown children. I work both as a counselor and an artist. I enjoy painting horses, bison, Montana landscapes and images of western history.

I am the founder of Arrowhead Ranch Journeys and look forward to sharing that story with you next time. Wishing you all a beautiful week of spectacular sunrises!🌄🌅🙌

I ran across some photos from our last guest artist Fall retreat at Arrowhead Ranch Journeys. And quite a journey it was! Artist Coila Evans ran a top notch painting workshop where we all came away with some new knowledge and skills as well as a finished painting. The company, the conversations, and the time to pause and reflect all added up to create a memorable time in the mountains of Highwood. Heads up… we have had requests to bring Coila back!!!
