MHS's streamlined privileging process allows providers to focus on their patients.

Our doctors and nurses should spend their time with patients, not paperwork. The Military Health System has streamlined the privileging process to cut through red tape.

This change reduces administrative tasks for our medical teams, allowing them to focus entirely on the health and readiness of our service members, retirees, and families.

There is nothing more important to the WAMC team than the wellbeing of our patients. Our hospital leadership team had the privilege of hand delivering holiday gift baskets to those in our care during this season.

All primary care and specialty care clinics will be closed on Wednesday Dec. 24 to Friday, Dec. 26th, and January 1st. Closures include Byars Medical Clinic, Clark Health Clinic, Joel, Robinson Health Clinic, Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic, Hope Mills Medical Home and Linden Oaks Medical Home, the Department of Behavioral Health/ Womack Health and Support Center. Main Pharmacy, Pharmacy Annex, Fort Bragg DENTAC facilities, Intrepid Spirit.

WAMC will host a consolidated clinic on Friday, December 26th from 8 - 12 at the Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic. All other Primary Clinics will be closed. Main Pharmacy and Pharmacy Annex will be open from 8-1p.m.
Fast Track will also be closed on December 25th with normal operations on December 24th, 26th and January 1st, 7 a.m. -3 p.m.
If you require medical assistance, please call 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273), option 1 or the Veterans Crisis line, dial 988 then Press 1.

Consolidated Clinic Update: Dec. 22, 2025

WAMC will host a Consolidated Clinic at the Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic on 26 December from 8 – 12 p.m. for acute primary care appointments.
We will be offering flu shots on a first come first served basis.
Appointments will be available for scheduling starting 23 December.
To schedule an appointment, please call 910-907-2778 (APPT).
All other Primary Care Clinics will be closed. Main Pharmacy and Pharmacy Annex open 8-1 p.m.
The Urgent Care Clinic will be open on Wednesday, December 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The advice nurse is always available by calling 1-800-TRICARE, option 1.
