📢 Clinic Closure – Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Due to the continuing impact of the winter storm, our clinics will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Many side roads and rural routes remain untreated, making travel unsafe for both patients and staff.

The safety of our community is our top priority. If you had an appointment scheduled, our team will contact you to reschedule as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and warm during the storm.

🧼 Handwashing = Healthy Communities!
Teaching proper handwashing isn’t just a habit—it’s a lifesaver. Here’s what the data shows:
✅ 23–40% fewer diarrheal illnesses
✅ 58% fewer cases in people with weakened immune systems
✅ 16–21% fewer respiratory infections
✅ 29–57% less school absenteeism
Clean hands protect YOU and everyone around you. Spread knowledge, not germs! 🌍💧

Fighting Off Colds and Flu...
The old saying is misleading—starving is never the answer. A healthy, nutrient-rich diet is your best defense against illness and helps your body recover faster.

✅ Antioxidants (Vitamin C, E, Beta Carotene) – Found in fruits & veggies like spinach, cantaloupe, and broccoli.
✅ Bioflavonoids – Citrus fruits, peppers, onions.
✅ Glutathione – Cruciferous veggies like cabbage and Brussels sprouts.
✅ Phytochemicals – Apples, carrots, garlic, legumes, and more.
✅ Protein – Lean meats, beans, soy for tissue repair and immune strength.

And yes, chicken soup really does help! Studies show it can ease congestion and even reduce inflammation. Pair it with hot tea for hydration and extra antioxidants.
Bottom line: Feed your body well—especially when you’re under the weather. 🌱🍲
